“Hello and welcome to my website. Drawing and painting has been a fascination with me since I was a young boy. As I got older I noticed that historically the progress of painting realistically was interrupted in the 1800’s by impressionism and again in the 1900’s by abstract painting. In the early 70’s some of us young artists became fascinated with hyper-realism or photo-realism and I have attempted to follow that course throughout my career. Apart from simply making something look real I strive to express passion through the use of dramatic color and composition. I would like to think that my work causes the viewers heart to beat just a little faster.”
